Sunil Bhandari has been an accountancy tutor since 1986, and was formally the Director of the Financial Training Company (now Kaplan) in Birmingham and was the founder and Managing Director of BPP Birmingham Ltd. He has trained many successful candidates to enable them to qualify and become membersof ICAEW, ICAS, CIMA, ACCA and ATT. He currently has bases in the UK, India and Kenya.
Sunil has previously been a marker for the UK based professional accountancy bodies. In addition, Sunil writes articles relating to ACCA FM and AFM which are regularly published in the accountancy training press.
Sunil is very happily married to his wife Rita, who is a teacher for the Art of Living Foundation, based in Bangalore and both his children are qualified accountants. As Sunil regularly mentions in his lectures, his love for his wife and children are only matched (and occasionally surpassed!) by his undying support for Manchester United, for which he holds a well-used season ticket.

After taking some downtime to relax after a long ACCA journey, I have finally got round to writing you up some feedback.

Two key points what I adored about your course was firstly the logical structure that you implemented at the start. This helped set a concrete plan for study with ease which allowed for a better family/work life balance. The second point is the carefully laid out weekly homework structure which helped to keep me entirely accountable. Let me say this to anyone on your course that if they fully utilise your teachings and put in the hard work, there is no doubt of passing 1st time.
The Advanced Financial Management exam was my final one and on results day, I leaped for joy with a pass mark of 70%.
In some way with this being my last exam the feeling is somewhat bittersweet. Sweet in the fact that I’m ecstatic of passing all my exams but bitter because I am really going to miss you being my tutor. You got back to all my queries when faced against difficult times, every question was articulated in a clever way that it clicked first time in my brain and overall, you are just a great guy!
